It's been our 38th year to co-publish our books with overseas publishers.
To those who are interested in the different language editions of our books, this would be a good place to visit.
In 1986, in our 20th year of the overseas editions, we had "the Exhibition of the Original Pictures of the Shiko-Sha's Picture Books That Went across the Ocean."

l Participation in the Bologna Book Fair from Apr. 14th to 17th.
Blessed with the fine weather, the business went fairly good.
l Participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair from October 6th to 10th.
Regardless of many difficulties in the world, everybody was still trying hard to make good books and sell them. The German publics visiting the fair were so eager to find good books for themselves, their kids or someone they love. The pictures below show the Hall 3, where our booth was located in the children's book section, including "Manga." In this hall, most of major German publishers were located, and it was always packed with the crowds.
